Non-ferrous metal; synthetic reflectors.

Non-ferrous silver metal with two green reflecting stripes and two red synthetic reflectors. Also on the front is embossed mfr's print, two green and yellow labels, one yellow and black label, one white and black label and black print. On the inside are two white mfr's labels with black print.

Embossed mfr's print on front of shell "BG/ 174" and in embossed logo "DRAGER". Black print "Mine Rescue". Two identical oval labels on side of shell read "NORTHWEST TERRITORIES/ MINE RESCUE [logo of a polar bear]". Two labels on left side, first reads "MIRAMAR/ [logo]/ MINING/ MIRAMAR" and second label reads "5". Inside shell are two mfr's labels, written in German, which describe the apparatus' parts.

Appears complete. Missing the oxygen bottle that fits inside the cover, at the bottom of the unit. See 2010.0261 for comparison. ( Sue W.)
