- Description
- This original painting is of the "Princess Helene" Ferry, painted by Lloyd G. Thibodeau on September 2nd, 1959. The painting is uncovered and framed in a primitively-styled wooden frame. The painting is signed and dated by the artist on the bottom right corner.
The painting appears to be worn on the bottom, on the waves, although this could have been done intentionally. In the middle of the print there is some staining/discolouration, as well as a small hole. The canvas is similar in texture to construction paper.
The back of the painting is encased in a similar wooden frame, but is painted white and chipping. This may have been the original frame. There are several bent rusted nails coming out of the back. They are likely holding the painting to the frame. - Description
