- History of Use
- The Hardy Cup (W. G. Hardy Trophy) was the Canadian National Intermediate A hockey championship from 1967 to 1984 and the Canadian National Senior AA hockey championship from 1985 to 1990. The Trophy was given to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1990 after the Dartmouth Mounties of Nova Scotia (Eastern Conference winners) beat and Paul Band Black Hawks of Alberta (Western Conference winners) 4-3. This made the Dartmouth Mounties the last team to win the Trophy and the only Nova Scotian team to ever win the Trophy. The Finals were located in Stony Plain, Alberta.
