- History of Use
- The baseball was one of the many belonging to the H&D League, formerly known as the Halifax Defense League before World War Two. The H&D League became one of the best minor leagues in Canada, with several teams acting as farm teams for major-league baseball teams. This ball is from when the Halifax Cardinals were the championship team in 1954.
